Some companies are offering domain reseller accounts for free just for getting registrered..

I would like to know if domain reselling aslon cane be used for generating some income?

However, if you want to make money reselling domains, you should understand several principles:

- The net profit margin in every resold domain is very small, from pennies to a dollar or so. So it only works on large amount.

- You have to dedicate your time and efforts into this business to be able to get something. There are tens of thousands people out there who are trying to resell domains through their websites every day.

So you gotta be smarter than them: have a better website, provide better prices and better services, build a name for your company that will be trusted and loved by customers.

However, if you wish to get started, I would suggest you to focus on reselling local domains or so.

And yes, many companies offer free domain reseller account, but you have to watch for their base prices (For domain registrations, renewals, transfers and any other features they might offer like free WHOIS Privacy), these are the most important factors here.

yes we offer domain resellers but as said above its not the best products to sell if your after making some cash, domains are only there as an insentive for you clients to buy your hosting (like offering free domains, half price domains and domain resellers etc all for free with a hosting order).

We do domain resellers for free with our highest reseller packages and change a small fee for the lower packages, but thats because we only add $0.05 to our domain price on top of what we have to pay, for example we pay say $5.00 for a .com so we place our price in the domain reseller at $5.05 (these are not our prices btw, its just for an example )
